#1. So, did one of you bring up adoption first. & did the other agree right away? Love, J
I Danae have wanted to adopt from the time I was in high school.So when Steve and i were engaged we talked about it and he was totally on board.
#2.what's been the biggest difference in your personalities that you've had to work on (effect wise) in your marriage?
I would say for Steve and I it would probably be that i am more spontaneous and Steve takes longer to make dissions.
#3.Whats one word of advice that you can give your lil cousin about the biggest key in making a great relationship successful? Sounds tacky, but I would like to know what you guys things...
making sure that God is the center of your lives first and for most then honesty and just having fun together.
#4 Do you ever think about/regret not being pregnant? I don't want this to sound rude, but I know that was one thing I had to get over when we decided to adopt, so I am just curious if others feel like this?
not really...being pregnant is an Awesome expericence and I feel like adoption is just as Awesome as being pregnant.
#5. If you were to adopt a third time (internationally) which country would you choose?
Ethiopia...we truly have a heart for the ehiopian people and culture...we love it
#6. Steve, what is your favorite meal that Danae makes?
My favorite meal would be....Black bean soup and Italian beef
#7. Hi Steve & Danae,I don't know if you remember us-Grant & Deb DesCarpentrie (I think we met at Knapp's a long time ago and at the Celebrate Life event a few years ago) Anyway, we are almost ready to send our dossier off to CHSFS for approval in their Ethiopia program!!Here's my question...would you guys like to come over for dinner sometime? We live in Normal now. We'd love to have you and chat about adoption.

One year ago today our dossier was excepted in the Ethiopian program and we were on the waiting list for our baby girl.......little did we know that five months later that we would be the parents to this precious gift from God. Eva we love you

Authentic relationships

Authenticity, are you authentic? I have been thinking about this for quite awhile. i do not want to put out there any persona that I am not. I want to be "what you see is what you get" type of person. i Love it when people are being authentic with themselves and to others. I LOVE it when i am around people that are REAL and I hope to be one of those people. I want our home to be welcoming and our LOVE to be as real and pure as it can be. To all our Friend's and family out there....We Love you in authentic and REAL way.... we Love you for just being you.
