Eli Day!!!!!!!

Today is Eli's day...the day we met our son for the first time in Colombia. It has been 3 years ago since then, my how time flies. Eli we LOVE you so much and are so thankful God had you to be our son.

What do you guys think about Rob Bell? There has been some controversy about him and the book Velvet Elvis...just curious what you all think? For those of you who do not know about Rob Bell you can check him out here. As for us....well we want to hear what you have to say first...just curious.

Amenities

Ok so we live in Mo- town now and since we are in the process of building our house we are living in this 900 sq ft or less duplex....very cozy....I am so thankful that it is Summer or we would be going totally crazy,not just crazy. We are very social people and LOVE having people over,but since our place is so small we are going in withdraw...again so thankful it is summer

One other thing the dishwasher dose not work so my Kitchen looks like this most of the time......

After being in places like Ethiopia and Colombia it really makes you realize how fortunate we are I mean 900 sq ft is HUGE and having running water is a luxury. Don't get me wrong I am still very excited to move into our house, but it totally makes me stop and think about the amenities that we get used to and feel that we can't do without.

So Erin, Abby and Janelle put together this welcome to Morton cook- out for us.... It was a BLAST and we are so thankful that God has BLESSED us with GREAT friends...Thanks so much ladies for putting this together and thanks to all who came out to welcome us.....We Love you all!!!!!
